Ambiente 2003 - Frankfurt, Germany

This huge fair in Frankfurt, Germany, was filled with both highlights and 'remarkable' results of design in the area of living. Latin American Design was present in many forms and it was encouraging to see that some designers and producers take the big step over the ocean to present their products or concepts. The companies and designers represented were all from Mexico, so the LADF has some way to go to support designers or producers from other countries to show themselves too.

Edith Brabata from Guadalajara, Mexico had her own exhibition in the Talents section of the fair (16 young designers invited by the Frankfurter Fair), showing different jewelry lines she has designed in the past few years.

Jorge Moreno Arozquita had organized an exhibition of different Mexican Designers to be able to give a selection of twenty designers and organizations " on the floor" as a recall of a mexican market. Represented were Abesa, Ariel Rojo, Cecilia Lobaton, CIDI, Cora and Adriana Diaz de Cossio, D4, Cubo3, Eduardo Tanimoto, Fernando Ramirez, Fiorenza Cordero, Gabriela Campo, Jorge Moreno himself, Hector Galvan, Liliana Ovalle, Liliana Velez, Manoo, Mariano Garcia, Mauricio Lara, Metztli Mancilla, Pineda Covalin, Rodrigo Vazquez and Vicente Latapi. The whole exhibition was also sponsored by the Guia de Diseno, a LADF partner.
